Yemeni Government Forces Destroy Houthi Surveillance and Jamming Systems in Al-Jawf
Yemeni government forces announced on Tuesday the successful destruction of surveillance cameras and electronic jamming systems operated by Houthi militias in Al-Jawf Governorate, utilizing precision strikes conducted by unmanned aerial vehicles from the Sixth Military Region.
The Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces released footage documenting the targeted strikes against the equipment. According to military officials, the Houthi militia had installed these systems across various sectors of the governorate in a strategic attempt to obstruct reconnaissance and combat operations performed by government drone units.
Military spokespersons stated that the persistent influx of advanced technical equipment to the Houthi militia constitutes a direct violation of international arms embargo resolutions. The acquisition of such technology is viewed as a significant escalation that enhances the militia’s military capabilities and complicates regional security efforts.
