Yemeni Government Forces Advance in Al-Jawf Amid Ongoing Offensive

Yemeni government forces have intensified military operations against Houthi militia positions east of Al-Jawf, conducting strategic offensives toward the Al-Dahidah mountains with robust air and drone support.

Military sources confirmed that government troops are currently engaged in clearing operations within recently liberated territories. These efforts include the systematic removal of landmines, improvised explosive devices, and defensive fortifications abandoned by the militia during their retreat. The ongoing campaign aims to secure these areas while simultaneously pushing forward toward key positions in the Al-Dahidah mountain range, located east of Al-Hazm.

During the latest round of fighting, government forces reportedly seized significant quantities of weaponry and ammunition from the militia. The engagements have resulted in substantial casualties for the Houthi forces, who have faced continuous pressure from both ground units and precision strikes from the air.

The coalition air force, supported by unmanned aerial vehicles, has played a critical role in the campaign by targeting Houthi fortifications, troop concentrations, and weapons depots. These strikes have successfully degraded the militia's logistical capabilities and resulted in the destruction of numerous combat vehicles.

Separately, intense clashes were reported along the front lines southeast of Al-Hazm. Government forces engaged the militia in sustained combat, further depleting the group’s personnel and neutralizing several armored vehicles, underscoring the ongoing volatility in the region.
