Joint Forces Repel Houthi Infiltration and Offensive in Taiz Front

Joint combat units from the Fourth Hazm Brigade and the First Commandos of the National Resistance successfully thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt and repelled an offensive on military positions in the Haifan front of Taiz governorate during the early hours of Monday, November 2, 2026.

Field sources confirmed that the joint units effectively countered the assault, which targeted the strategic Al-Mamshah and Al-Silah positions. The defensive operation forced the Houthi elements to retreat under heavy fire after sustaining significant personnel losses.

According to reports from the front line, the Houthi militia failed to achieve any territorial gains during the engagement. The attackers were compelled to withdraw to their original positions following the decisive response from the joint forces, marking another failed attempt by the militia to compromise security in the region.
