Southern Giants Brigades Destroy Houthi Commander's Vehicle in Lahj

Forces from the Southern Giants Brigades successfully destroyed a vehicle carrying a senior Houthi commander and his security detail on the strategic Lahj front near the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The operation, which took place in the Lahj governorate, was confirmed early Monday by the media center of the Giants Brigades. Military officials released video documentation of the strike, confirming that the targeted vehicle was completely neutralized and all occupants were killed in the engagement.

While the military command confirmed the success of the precision strike, they have not yet disclosed the identity or rank of the targeted commander, nor have they provided a specific count of the casualties among his accompanying personnel.

The strike occurred amid a broader escalation of military activity, supported by government-led airstrikes and drone sorties. According to military sources, these operations targeted Houthi positions, weapons caches, and reinforcement lines across various fronts in the Taiz governorate and the Lahj region.

The Kahboub front remains a critical theater of operations due to its geographic proximity to the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a vital maritime corridor for international trade and global shipping lanes.
