Yemeni Air Force Strikes Houthi Targets in Al-Bayda and Mocha

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that the air force has conducted precision strikes against Houthi militant positions and military hardware in the governorates of Al-Bayda and Taiz, specifically targeting areas in and around Mocha.

The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed the operation in a televised statement. While the briefing confirmed that the strikes successfully engaged personnel and equipment, the military did not disclose specific details regarding the scale of human or material casualties resulting from the engagement.

These operations follow a series of intensified aerial campaigns conducted by government forces throughout September. On September 20, military officials reported strikes in Al-Bayda that targeted missile launch platforms, communication systems, and critical weapons caches. Reports indicated that over 20 separate sorties were executed during that specific mission to degrade insurgent logistical capabilities.

In the Western Coast theater, government forces have frequently engaged Houthi concentrations, vehicles, and weapon depots near the city of Mocha. Previous reports from the region highlighted strikes conducted in the vicinity of the Mocha port and along the strategic supply route connecting Mocha to Dhubab, underscoring the area's significance in the ongoing conflict.

The Yemeni front lines have experienced a marked escalation in hostilities over recent weeks, characterized by frequent exchanges of fire between government forces and Houthi militias across Taiz, Al-Bayda, Marib, Al-Jawf, and the Western Coast. These ground developments coincide with heightened tensions in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, further elevating the strategic importance of the Western Coast in the broader military landscape.
