Unknowns Set Fire to Lawyer's Car in Ibb Province
Unknown assailants set fire to a lawyer's vehicle in the Dhi As-Sufal district of Ibb province, amidst widespread security chaos in the Houthi-controlled region of central Yemen.
Local sources reported that unidentified individuals deliberately ignited the car belonging to lawyer Khalid Qaed Abbad the night before last. The vehicle was parked near his residence in the village of Al-Mashnan, within the Habbir district of Dhi As-Sufal, south of Ibb governorate.
The identities and motives of the perpetrators remain unknown. Residents of the area have urged the relevant authorities within the Houthi militia administration to investigate the incident, apprehend the culprits, and hold them accountable.
In recent months, there has been a notable increase in the looting and arson of citizens' vehicles across the city of Ibb and its various districts, reflecting the prevailing state of security disorder in the province.
