Houthi Militiamen Raid Hospital, Abduct Five Injured Tribesmen in Saada

Houthi militia elements raided a hospital in Yemen's northern Saada province, abducting five members of the Dhu Mohammed tribes who were receiving treatment for injuries sustained in tribal clashes.

Tribal sources reported that Houthi elements stormed hospital wards, assaulted the injured individuals, and then forcibly took them to an unknown location, disregarding their medical conditions and need for care.

The abducted individuals were reportedly injured during confrontations that erupted last week between the Al Jazeelan and Al Abes tribes, which led to armed tensions in the region.

The Dhu Mohammed tribes have held the Houthi group fully responsible for the safety of the abducted men, demanding their immediate release. They condemned the storming of a medical facility and the abduction of injured patients as a violation of tribal customs and humanitarian values.

The tribes issued a warning to Houthi leaders in Saada and Al Jawf governorates, including Al Hamzi, Abu Hassan Shamaa, and Faisal bin Haider, against harming the abducted individuals or endangering their lives. They demanded their return to their families and the prosecution of those responsible for the hospital raid and detention.
