Houthi Forces Abduct Cleric in Yemen's Ibb Governorate

Houthi militias have reportedly abducted Sheikh Yousef Al-Jubali, the imam and preacher of Hanzal Mosque, in the Al-Sodah district of Ibb Governorate, Yemen, and taken him to an unknown location. This incident marks another violation within the province currently under Houthi control.

Local sources indicated that elements affiliated with the militias seized Sheikh Al-Jubali last Saturday. The reasons for his abduction and the destination to which he was transported have not been disclosed. His family remains unaware of his whereabouts or condition, expressing grave concerns for his safety.

The family of Sheikh Al-Jubali has issued an urgent appeal for information regarding his fate and for his immediate release. They hold the Houthi militias fully accountable for his well-being, citing a persistent pattern of abductions and enforced disappearances targeting religious and civilian figures in areas under militia authority.
