Yemeni Refugee Found Deceased in South Korean Home

South Korean authorities have confirmed the discovery of a deceased Yemeni national, identified as Muadh Abdulqahir Nu'man Al-Hakimi, aged 41, at his residence in the city of Danyang, Chungcheong Province. His body was subsequently transferred to a hospital for necessary procedures.

Officials have initiated contact with the deceased's family in Yemen to discuss arrangements for the repatriation of his remains or to finalize burial plans in South Korea, based on the family's wishes.

A Yemeni source residing in South Korea indicated that Al-Hakimi had been living in the country as a refugee for approximately two years. His death reportedly occurred on the same day he was scheduled to renew his official residency permit.

The source further stated that Al-Hakimi's wife and children remain in Yemen. The Yemeni expatriate community in South Korea has expressed deep sorrow over his passing, extending condolences to his family and relatives.

No official details regarding the cause of death have been released. South Korean authorities are continuing their investigations and following standard protocols for such cases.
