Houthi Militia Kidnaps Daughter of Late Politician Najib Qahtan Al-Shaabi and Her UNICEF Employee Husband in Sanaa

On Monday evening, the Houthi terrorist militia kidnapped the daughter of the late politician Najib Qahtan Al-Shaabi and her husband, a UNICEF employee, after raiding their home in the capital, Sanaa, in what was described as a "violent and sudden" manner.Local sources reported that Houthi gunmen stormed the house abruptly and took the couple to an unknown location without disclosing any reasons, leaving their family and close associates in a state of shock and anxiety.

         The Iranian-backed militia has escalated its campaign of persecution and abductions targeting activists, UN workers, and civilians, sparking widespread outrage on social media and demands for information about the fate of those abducted.Human rights organizations condemned the ongoing abductions carried out by the militia against civilians, stressing that targeting social figures and relatives of national symbols constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.These organizations called on the UN envoy to Yemen and international bodies to take responsibility and pressure the Houthis to halt these repeated violations and ensure the immediate release of all abductees.
