Houthis on High Alert after Anti-Coup Slogans Appear on Sanaa, Dhamar Walls

The Iran-backed Houthis launched a large-scale arrest campaign against many residents of the capital, Sanaa, and the city of Dhamar, after Anti-Houthi slogans appear on the walls of dozens of houses and buildings.

The militia raided a number of citizens' homes, and began kidnapping many youths, and subjected them to investigation to find out who wrote the slogans. Local sources told Khabar Agency.

Residents and local sources said that the militias were surprised by the slogans that appeared on the walls of several houses calling for the Houthis to leave the capital.

The slogans’ appearance coincided with a widespread state of popular anger, which reached the level of public criticism of the militias and their leadership.
