Masam Project Dismantles 1,472 Houthi Mines in Yemen within a Week

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the last week of March 2022, a total of 1,472 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including anti-personnel mines, anti-tank, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
 
The project said in a statement that its field teams have dismantled 3,910 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices since the beginning of the month in a number of Yemeni governorates.
 
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 326.669 mines have been dismantled.
 
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
