Iran-backed Houthis booby-trap their body fighters killed in Marib

The Iran-backed Houthis booby-trapped the corpses of their fighters, who were killed in the battlefronts south of Marib (east of Yemen).

The Houthi militia booby-trapped the bodies of a number of their killed fighters, dumped them on the outskirts of the Harib and Juba fronts. Field military sources told Khabar Agency.

The sources said that the Yemeni forces discovered the Houthi tricks. Pointing out that the militias used this ploy to inflict the largest possible number of victims and for their prior knowledge that the morals of the Yemeni forces will not allow the bodies of their fighters to be left thrown to be eaten by birds and wild animals, but rather they will retrieve and bury them.

The Houthis are masterful in detonating and camouflaging explosive devices and mines of different sizes and shapes, making some of them similar to stones, sand and trees, each according to the place in which they are placed, with the aim of inflicting the largest number of victims, whether they are civilians or military personnel in various regions.

According to reports, the number of mines planted by the Iran-backed Houthi militia has reached about 2 million in various Yemeni governorates, most of them in the governorates of Marib, Taiz and the Western Coast.
