Masam Project Dismantles 2,231 Houthi Mines in Yemen during One Week

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the fourth week of December 2021, a total of 2,231 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 11 anti-personnel mines, 1,399 anti-tank mines, 801 unexploded ordnance and 20 explosive devices.
 
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 298,412 mines have been dismantled.
 
The project seeks to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
